Amy L. Osborn
Amy Osborn is an experienced health care attorney who has spent her career representing health care providers in both private practice and in-house positions.
In private practice with a large Tulsa, Oklahoma law firm, Amy concentrated her practice on representing health care providers in business and operational issues. Her clients included for profit and not-for-profit health care systems, acute and specialty hospitals, physician practices, and pharmacy benefit management companies. She also represented other clients, ranging from small closely held businesses to large publicly held entities, in a wide range of business transactions and joint ventures.
In 2001, Amy left private practice to become the sole in-house attorney for Hillcrest HealthCare System, a health care system consisting of 17 hospitals and 42 physician clinics in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the surrounding area. As the Vice President of Legal Services at Hillcrest, Amy directed legal operations and provided legal advice to the executive team, corporate departments and the leadership and staff at the hospitals and physician practices. Ultimately, when the company was sold to a for-profit health care system, Amy was instrumental to the negotiation and sale of the system, and managed both the transaction and the subsequent orderly transition of legal affairs to the new ownership.
After winding up the legal affairs at Hillcrest in 2006, Amy accepted the position of Associate General Counsel at Plano-based Triad Hospitals, Inc., where she undertook responsibility for the legal operations of the company’s largest division of hospitals. In her role at Triad, Amy worked closely with corporate, division and facility leadership on legal and strategic initiatives and provided legal advice and services for day-to-day operations, special projects and crisis management.
After the acquisition of Triad Hospitals by another entity, Amy decided to return to private practice and joined Rogaliner Law Offices, P.C. Amy’s wide range of experience in health care operations and transactions positions her to provide unique insight and expertise to her clients.
