Joe Johnson serves as Of Counsel to the Rogaliner Law Firm. Joe has litigated complex lawsuits on behalf of injured Plaintiffs for 24 years, was a co-founder and partner in the firm Needham Johnson, and was Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (1996 – 2005). As a practicing litigator Joe reviewed thousands of potential cases, tried 125 cases to a jury verdict, participated in 2000 depositions and 200 mediations while recovering $1,000,000 or more for 40 clients. This experience led to innovations at Triad Hospitals and LHP Hospital Group relating to case evaluation, litigation prevention, litigation management, and settlement and mediation strategies.
In 2004 Joe joined Triad Hospitals as the Vice President of Legal Affairs where he oversaw pre-litigation and litigation matters for the Fortune 400 company including 54 hospitals in 19 states. Because of changes in litigation philosophy and processes initiated by Joe, the number of litigated cases was reduced by 75% in less than three years and processes were put in place that significantly reduced injuries in the hospitals.
Joe was a founding member, Vice-President of Legal Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer for LHP Hospital Group, a start-up company that owned six hospitals in four states between 2007 and 2017. He oversaw Risk Management and Compliance equipped with his vast experience as a problem solver in human resources, compliance, litigation, medical staff management, insurance, patient and workplace safety.
